Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description : Kapsch is seeking a Project Manager (Tolling projects) for our office in Duluth, GA.
The Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of design, build Tolling or Intelligent Transportation projects. The PM will manage everything from estimating and bidding through commissioning and field testing including contract and change order negotiations, subcontractor management, scheduling, staging and production, project staffing and budgeting, field commissioning and testing and final acceptance.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Providing project management leadership for Tolling projects functioning as a prime contractor or subcontractor
Acting as main contact for external clients and end users to manage customer relations
Preparing estimates, scope letters, and supporting marketing
Preparing and managing CPM schedules, budget forecasts and project tracking
Performing risk analysis to identify and mitigate identified risks
Preparing and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders and related commercial issues
Evaluating change-requests and administering a Change Control Registry for tracking the submission, coordination, review, evaluation, categorization, and approval for release of all system changes
Requirements: Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of project management experience specifically with Tolling projects. Previous experience with ITS (Intelligent Transportation systems) or Toll projects is required. Relevant experience will include active roadways, management of subcontractors, evaluation and installation of equipment, and knowledge of Back Office systems and procedures.
